Skills Day Format

Players need to bring a glove, bat, & helmet.  USA Baseball labeled bats are required for all Boys Activities.  USSSA stamped bats are prohibited.  Dress comfortably and no cleats are allowed.

Registration is open during Skills Day for the final time if you still need to sign-up your child.  You may be provided all necessary paperwork and asked to please bring copies of proof of residence and birth certificate.

The participant and their parent are asked to line up along the building as you wait to enter the facility.  Please don’t congregate in large groups.  Our Event workers will be assisting in ushering players into the facility in an orderly fashion in order to limit the number of people within the facility.  We have set times to allow each player to be evaluated.  It may take the entire time period to get every player through evaluation and to get sized for their jersey for the season.  We ask for your patience and understanding in this process.

  1. First 15 players per division in line outside will be let into the facility.
  2. They will be “socially distanced” while waiting to approach the registration table (if applicable) and check-in areas.
  3. The first 15 will transition to the “waiting room/shirt sizing table”.
  4. From there they will transition to the fielding cage.  3-5 grounders per player
  5. From there they will transition to the fielding cage.  5-7 pitches per player.
  6. Managers will station between the 2 cages to evaluate players.  Volunteers will run the stations.  While the first 15 are completing their skills evaluation, the next 5-10 players will enter the facility and register (if applicable).
  7. From registration/check-in they will enter the side “waiting room/shirt sizing table”.
  8. The first group will then exit through the back of the facility and leave, while the next 5-10 will begin the skills evaluation process.
